Theater Lore & History
Opened May 2, 1952 on the west side of Amarillo with an 800-car capacity, the Tascosa operated as a twin screen from 1967 until a fire destroyed one screen in 1978. New owners reopened it in July 2024 with a modernized single-screen setup for 195 cars.
