Theater Lore & History
Originally opened April 27, 1949 as the Parkside Drive-In, this Lucas County venue added a second screen in 1979 and was renamed the Sundance Kid Drive-In in 1987. The last drive-in in the Toledo area, it continues as a twin-screen digital cinema and is the sole survivor of eight drive-ins that once served the Toledo metro.
