Theater Lore & History
The Skyview opened July 8, 1949 as a twin-screen drive-in south of Pittsburgh and operated for over 70 years under the Walker family. It permanently closed in late 2021 following the deaths of its owners; by 2023 the marquee and equipment had been auctioned off.
