Theater Lore & History
Opened March 31, 2006 northwest of Houston, the Showboat Drive-In grew to twin screens by May 2007. After 18 years of operation, it closed September 15, 2024 and was demolished two weeks later — one of the Houston area's last drive-in theaters.
