Theater Lore & History
Shotwell Drive-In was built in six weeks by the Points North Institute — organizers of the Camden International Film Festival — when the pandemic shuttered indoor theaters in summer 2020. It operates June–October on Thursday and Saturday nights, projecting from a lighthouse onto a single screen at the former Rockport Elementary School.
