Theater Lore & History
Opened September 8, 1955 by Gary Barnhill and named after his daughters Sandra and Adele, the Sandell closed in 1984 and was revived in August 2002 by John Earl Morrow. The single-screen, 300-car venue in the Texas Panhandle is now run entirely by Morrow and community volunteers.
