Theater Lore & History
Rhode Island's only drive-in, the Rustic Tri-View opened in 1942 as the Westacres Auto Theatre and was renamed Rustic Drive-In in 1951. Two more screens were added in 1988 to create the current three-screen setup, with total capacity for 550 cars.
