Theater Lore & History
Pheasant City Drive-In opened August 13, 1953 as the Sioux Drive-In and was renamed in 1973. After closing in 2013 the drive-in was purchased and digitally upgraded by new owners who reopened it on May 30, 2014 — the single-screen theater holds 200 cars just north of Redfield on Hwy 281.
