Theater Lore & History
Originally opened in 1948 as Dyers Drive-In, this Marion County theater was renamed Ocala Drive-In by 1955 and has since survived multiple closures and revivals. A second screen was added in 2016, and the drive-in now operates seven nights a week with FM audio and a pet-friendly policy.
