Theater Lore & History
Opened July 1, 1949 by Sarto and Leona Smaldone on Route 9 in Saratoga County, the Malta Drive-In has its own historical marker out front. The Caro brothers purchased it in 1988, added a second screen in 2008, and expanded capacity to 800 cars. It runs double features April through September.
