Theater Lore & History
Opened July 12, 1957 by the Levin brothers, the Dixie Twin Drive-In has operated continuously on North Dixie Drive for over 65 years. A second screen was added around 2002, and the 900-car venue converted to digital in 2014. It operates April through November and remains a Dayton-area institution.
