Opened in 1959 on Whidbey Island after founders Woody and Charlotte Cecil got a deal on a repossessed sign, the Blue Fox Drive-In has been family-owned by the Bratts since 1988. It is believed to be the northernmost year-round drive-in in the continental U.S.
