Theater Lore & History
Originally opened August 18, 1950, the Black River Drive-In was rebuilt from the ground up after a fire and two decades of dormancy, reopening on its exact 56th anniversary in August 2006. Located near Fort Drum in Jefferson County, it is a seasonal single-screen drive-in operated by the same family that owns the Midway Drive-In in Minetto.
