Theater Lore & History
The Big Mo opened in 1951 as the Monetta Drive-In, closed in 1986, and was reborn in 1999 by Richard and Lisa Boaz who gave it the Big Mo name. A second screen was added in 2005 and a third in 2011; it is now open on weekends seasonally March through September.
