Opened in April 1950 in Logan County, the Beacon Drive-In served Guthrie for over 74 years. Its final film screened in September 2024 before the property was sold to Communication Federal Credit Union, which plans to build a bank on the site — ending nearly 75 years of outdoor cinema in Guthrie.
