Theater Lore & History
Opened May 24, 1951 as the Modernaire Drive-In, the Admiral Twin is Oklahoma's largest drive-in with two 9-story-tall back-to-back screens and 1,000+ car capacity. Featured in Francis Ford Coppola's 'The Outsiders' (1983), it was destroyed by fire in September 2010 and rebuilt, reopening June 15, 2012.
