Theater Lore & History
The 88 Drive-In opened in August 1971 as the East 88th Avenue Drive-In and is the last original drive-in in the Denver metro area. With a 500-car capacity and single screen, it has survived multiple closure threats, including a 2023 rezoning bid for a warehouse, and continues to screen movies seasonally.
