Theater Lore & History
Opened September 22, 1949 on Historic U.S. Route 66, the 66 Drive-In operated until 1985 before closing with the Mother Road's decline. Restored and reopened April 18, 1998, it is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places (2003) and is the last of the original six Route 66-named drive-ins.
