Theater Lore & History
Opened July 22, 1955, the 56 Auto Drive-In is the northernmost drive-in in New York State and named for the state route it sits on south of Massena. Owner Jeff Szot has run the seasonal double-feature venue for about 30 years and converted it to digital projection in 2014.
